Easter!!!

So it's been (I think) a little over a month since spring break (again, I think) and let me tell you it has been quite the month! Not necessarily in a bad way, it just seems like I've been really busy with school and everything.

First (and most excitingly important) I don't believe I mentioned it but one of my best friends from church who is like a brother to me was in the hospital for two weeks and had to go to Dallas to get some different opinions because no one could find anything wrong with him (and they still didn't have a definite answer) but he's back!!!! And he's back to his old self again :) I'm so happy! I started to get really worried but now that he's better I'm just so so so so so excited!!!!!

Second! Easter is coming up on Sunday and I'm so excited. Mostly to just go to church and worship until my heart gives out!! I just have such an awesome feeling about it. Last weekend, I watched The Passion of the Christ and it was so hard for me to watch it, seeing everything that went on... I cried so hard. But my mom and I shared the same thought: Mary couldn't look away when all of that was happening. She couldn't ignore the cries Jesus gave, and she couldn't just turn away from what was being done to him. But the other things I noticed about that movie, was the human side of him we often ignore. They showed him joking with Mary at one point and he was just like that guy you want to be around all the time. I have never truly understood the price he paid for us. But now that I have at least a better understanding, I feel like I can appreciate it so much more than I did before. I am so thankful and so happy for that.

As far as school is going, it's school. Haha, like, everyone is just trying to make it through these last 6 weeks... Wow... it's crazy to think that there's only 6 weeks left... Sophomore year has gone by so fast!! And here I thought it was going to go by at a snail's pace. xP Unfortunately, due to a 76 in English (blah!) I don't have my phone x( But I'm only 4 points away (or 2 tests) from getting it back!! I can do this. The only reason I have that grade is due to missing papers, which were missing due to a choir trip. Gosh. But now I know what needs to get done and I am going to do it!!
Also everything with the people at church has been awesome. I've been in the best mood ever because of the awesome people I'm so privileged to be friends with. However I found out one of my good friends could be moving to Dallas. She's going to decide whether she's going to move soon or in the summer. I have my hopes leaning towards summer. But who knows? Not me -_- But whatever happens everything will work out.

OH!!!! How could I forget this!? Choir tour is only, like, 2 months away! That's crazy to think about. Mainly because (up until a few weeks ago) I thought I was just going to be going for the mission part of it. But I got back into choir and drama and I'm glad I did. I missed it. I love singing, and the fact that I'm praising Jesus just makes it that much more awesome!

Well this post was kind of a miscellaneous jumble of things. But now you're caught up ^.^ (How bout my little faces? hahaha) Well... I have nothing else to say for now. Until I post again!!

As Spring Break Comes To A Close...

Welp... The title very well says it all. Spring Break is finally coming to a close.
As opposed to the things I've seen of people saying they think it went by too fast... I think it went by at just the right speed :)
Probably because I actually spent time with the people I love and cherish oh so dearly.
My family, and my best friend (who I consider a sister).
School starts in a few days and I can happily say I'm ready(: I miss my friends so much!! And for once I actually feel like I can take on the work that goes along with school haha.

Today my mom, my brother, sister, and I went to the library to let them check out a few books. Then, we made the daring journey to the mall. Each of us got something new and we all enjoyed ourselves :)

I'm thankful that I've had such an amazing time this week with my family. It's not very often we get to take such a nice and needed break from the world. I love them so much :)

I'm so excited for this week and what's in store for me and I'm excited to see what amazing things God is going to do in my life. What blessings He's going to give me. :) I couldn't be happier with my life than I am right now.

I Can Hear The Hallelujah Chorus!!

HALLELUJAH!! I am FINALLY able to start posting again! (Took long enough, right?) Don't answer that!

Well what can I say!? I've made it this far!! Only a few more months to go and then I'm free!! Haha just kidding... about the being free part... not the few more months part. I'm not like being completely tortured in school or anything. I'm actually enjoying it. Except the pointless drama that goes along with being in high school -__- But I'm rising above it and brushing it off my shoulder.

I was just thinkin the other day... Where in the heck did sophomore year go!? It seems like just yesterday I was back at school reuniting with all my friends (and making new ones, at that). I can't believe that next year I'm going to be a junior... then after that... a senior... then off to the big wide world. Yea I'm gonna live it up while I still can.

Well, currently it's spring break (woohoo!!) I think everyone needed it, too. I know I did! So far, I've just spent time with my family and my best friend. Today, we went to an art museum and then a ranching museum (more or less). It was a lot of fun! My best friend and I got to practice taking really cute pictures. At the ranching museum they had a lot of old houses and things like that. Also they had an old locomotive that we got to take pictures on/by.

Yesterday, we went to go see the Lorax. It was a cute movie... that's about it so far haha. I'm not sure what tomorrow has in store but all I know is it's gonna be fun!

Now that I have a laptop to post on again I'll try to remember to post more frequently. Don't worry... I won't desert y'all again! :)

Still Here!!

Excitement!!:)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! It's been too long :/

But this week is a BIG week!!

Because it's................

HOMECOMING!!! *applause*

I'm so excited! Mainly because I have my loving and adorable boyfriend as a date:)

I don't think I posted about that..... But I have had a boyfriend for almost 3 weeks now:) It's a weird feeling having one again! It's been a while.

But I'm so excited! We got his garter today and it looks so good!

He sent me a couple of pictures of my mum and I'm not gonna lie... I liked the way it looked before he changed anything... But he's fixing it (he says). I'm mainly paranoid that it's gonna be like the one I had last year... It was our first year for homecoming but my mom waited til the last minute (I didn't have a date either) and so my mum last year was very plain and not very exciting...

I'm HOPING that he will make it look amazing and I hope that it'll be worth it.

That's really all I have to report...

Feelin' Great:)

The title of this post says it all... I am feelin' great:)

In the last 24 hours I've been randomly complimented twice by almost complete strangers:) Yesterday I started texting a guy who I haven't talked to before. He said that I was really pretty and sweet. That message made the rest of my day:)

Then today, I was just sitting in Spanish talking to some freshmen, and this kid looked at me and another girl and said "Y'all are probably taken, huh?" and we were like "No, why?" He had an "omg" face and said "Y'all are, like, beautiful! If I didn't have a girlfriend I would date one of you." I got major butterflies:) I thought it was so sweet:)

I had to tell someone and my friends don't want to listen :P Thanks for the attention hehe :)

Update!!!

It's only the beginning of the 3rd week and drama has already happened!!!

Needless to say it's all over now of course:) Thank goodness for that because I didn't know how much more I could take! I mean come on, girls! It's the SECOND WEEK.

Anyways... There's really nothing to report. Everything else in my life is peachy keen:)
